Thanks for hopping along with us today.  If you haven't stopped by before, my name is Julie.  I'm a working mom of one 3 year old girl named Meghan.  I LOVE all sorts of crafts, but I'm pretty addicted to my Cricut and card making.  Make sure to become a follower of my blog in order to be eliglbe for any blog candy.

BLOG CANDY ALERT!!!

Leave a comment below by midneight Monday March 25th EST for a chance to win some bakers twine samples and surprise embelishments.  The winner will be announced next week!

My FAVORITE Cricut cartridge to use for baby projects is the Baby Steps cartridge.

I made this 8x8 baby album for a friend's baby shower using just the Baby Steps cartridge.  If you are making an album like this as a gift, the Baby Steps cartridge makes it SO easy for you.  It covers all the major milesotones of a baby from birth to when they become a toddler and their first birthday.  I actually still use this for my 3 year old, so you can really utilize the features for a long time.

You can watch this video to get a full view of the completed album.

I also made my friend a diaper cake to bring along to the baby shower as a focal point.  I love to make these and they are so easy to do.  I used the Baby Steps cartridge again to make clothes to put on the bakers twine clothes line that I put on top of the "cake."  View the video below for a better look.

I thought I'd leave the horribly sad info for the end of this post as I couldn't just leave it out.  My friend had her baby with a normal delivery, but unfortunately baby Grace passed away from a very sudden and severe septic infection a little more than 24 hours after she was born.  We are all so heartbroken to lose such a sweet baby girl.

In Loving Memory Of Baby Grace
