More Christmas Cards

It doesn't really require a Cricut to make these Santa cards. I may have to do a how to video on these.

Christmas Cards

I used a couple different circle punches and scraps of white paper to make the snowman. I inked them all up with some light blue ink. I added foam tape to the top two layers and tied some baker's twine around to look like a scarf. The snowflakes are from the Tie The Knot Cricut cartridge. I added some Stickles to the snowbanks. The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs.

Rett Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop

Welcome to the First Annual Blog Hop for...

Rett Syndrome Awareness

Your first stop should have been at Robin Lane's Blog, if you did not start there please go back to the beginning...

What is Rett Syndrome? Rett Syndrome is a devastating neurologic developmental disorder that occurs almost exclusively in girls. It is usually caused by a mutation of the MECP2 gene on the X chromosome. Rett Syndrome is found in all racial and ethnic groups throughout the world, and in every socioeconomic class. Rett Syndrome affects 1 in 15,000 female births.

Early developmental milestones appear normal, but between 6-18 months of age, there is a delay or regression in development, particularly affecting speech, hand skills and coordination. A hallmark of Rett Syndrome is the repetitive hand movements that may include seizures, irregular breathing, swallowing difficulties, and curvature of the spine. Many individuals with Rett Syndrome live well into adulthood.
There is currently no cure.

I have been working on Christmas gifts and using vinyl to make some very fun items. I used the Pooh and Friends cartridge to make this mug for a friend who will be having surgery soon. It was great practice for what I have planned for Christmas. I love how it turned out! My friend was very excited to get it too.

Thanks for stopping by! You'll want to go to Jennie's blog HERE

His and Hers Mugs

The font is from Kate's ABC's, the lips are from Tie The Knot. I didn't have a mustache so I cut angel wings and tweaked them to make a mustache. Wishing I would have made the font smaller. Oh well. They're still cute.

Laundry room vinyl

Pretty happy with this laundry room vinyl! I used George and Basic Shapes, Gypsy Wanderings, and Baby Steps. I may turn into a vinyl art addict now. :-)

Cookies For Santa

I am so excited about how this cookie plate turned out! I used the Baby Steps cartridge for the font, George and Basic Shapes for the circle, and Sesame Street Friends for the cookies. I am having so much fun working with vinyl. I got some great ideas from Pinterest for some future projects.

Could use some prayer warriors.

Well I have had a rough few days that escalated to a bad one today. I have a rare auto immune disease that I got a few years ago. It has been in remission for awhile but I knew something was wrong by how much pain I had been in. Had to take half the day off from work and went to the doctor. Found that I am losing a very large amount of protein again. I could have an infection so we started antibiotic for that, but I am just so tired and scared about going through this again. I so want to live abad normal life without pain and exhaustion. Could use some sunny thoughts.

This was my first attempt at glass etching. I learned a lot. It's not perfect, but still looks cool.

Gypsy Font

And thanks for everyone who gave your opinion about whether or not to get the E2. I decided to stick with my current Expression and Gypsy and got new cartridges instead.whe
