Cricut in a frame - nice gift idea

I love doing Cricut scenes in frames as gifts. Here's one that I made for a friend using Wall Decor and More and Love You A Latte.

Nieces birthday gift

Got a remnant of fleece from Joanns for about $4. Meggie and I made my niece some birthday gifts with it. The owl boo boo buddy is funny looking, but Clara will love it. It is filled with rice and can be put in the freezer for ice or warmed up in the microwave. Then I made her a hat, mittens and scarf with the leftover fleece.

Wedding Invite Project

This is the sample that I just finished for my brother in law's wedding invites. I think they look pretty elegant. Loving the color scheme. I used the divine swirl Cuttlebug folder to emboss the front wrap.

Birthday card for my niece

I used the B is for Boy cartridge to make this birthday card for my niece who is turning 1 next week. The toy is on an action wobble. I'm sure she'll enjoy wobbling it back and forth.

Matching hat

I'm still feeling pretty worn down and running fevers. Doctor put me on another round of antibiotics.

Here is Meggie's matching hat. She loves it!

New hat

Well this isn't Cricut, but I thought I'd still share. I made myself a new crocheted hat. Guess sitting around on the couch being sick and all of this snow got me in the mood to crochet. I might make Meggie a matching hat with the left over yarn.

thank you cards

I used the Simply Charmed and Create a Critter cartridges to make these Christmas thank you cards for all the nice gifts we got.

Got to use our Santa Plate

We got to use the Santa plate that I decorated with Cricut cut vinyl. Santa at one and a half cookies and drank all his milk.

M&M canister

This m&m canister is for my husband's stepdad. I used George and Basic Shapes and Birthday Bash. The stamp is from K Andrew Designs.

Another dog treat canister

This dog treat canister is for my other brother's dog. I used Create A Critter 2 for the dog, Create A Critter for the clouds, and County Fair for the fence. I used Country Life for the font.

Cake pops

My husband's birthday is today, so I made him some cake pops as his birthday cake. Now I could use a three hour nap cuz I did too much today. Ug.

Girl's Night Out Card

A friend of mine needed a special card to include with a Christmas gift for her mom. She's taking her to get her hair done and out to dinner. I used the Girl's Makeup Party cartridge.

Birthday card for daddy

My daughter helped make this birthday card for her daddy. No Cricut required, but soooo cute!

Zombie Vaccine Kit

I made this pack of coffee and sugar to go along with my brother's zombie vaccine coffee mug. I didn't have a syringe, so I built mine with my Gypsy using George and Basic Shapes. There is a syringe on Everday Paper Dolls, which I apparently need to ad to my cartridge wish list.

Dog Treat Canister Vinyl

This gift is for my brother's dogs. I used Create a Critter for the dog, bones, sentiment, and fire hydrant. I used a circle punch for the rest.

Zombie vaccine coffee mug

My brother is a big fan of the tv show "The Walking Dead," so I figured he would get a kick out of this zombie vaccine coffee mug that I made him for Christmas. I used the Cricut Craft Room Essentials font and Happy Hauntings cartridge for the zombie.

Scrabble Wall Art

This is one of my favorite home made Christmas gifts that I did this year. I'm giving this to my dad. I used the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge. I printed out the Scrabble score sheets from Google images and inked them with Tim Holtz Tea Die Distress Ink.

Christmas Gift For My Brother

My brother owns an "Old West" themed gun shop and I finished this plaque for him to hang in his shop. I used the County Fair Cricut cartridge.

Another Christmas Gift

I made this dry erase board to do list for my brother in law and future sis in law for Christmas. I used the Pooh and Friend and the Pooh Font Cricut cartridges. I used velcro to attach the dry erase marker to the picture frame.

More card set gifts

I used the Best Of Pixat cartridge to do The Incredibles card set. This is sooo not a favorite cartridge for me to use. The cuts are really cute, but they do not cut well at less than 4". I never bother using the cut eyes and opt for a white gel pen instead because the cuts come out too little. You also have to be really careful with speed and blade depth as these have some very intricate cuts that can cause paper tearing. I had to cut out baby Jack Jack's hair by hand after trying three times to cut it at the size I really wanted. If you want to use this cartridge then I would reccomend it for larger cuts on scrapbook layouts or room decor.

I used the Twinkle Toes cartridge for the background on the strawberry card and the sentiment cut as well. I cut the strawberries from Simply Charmed and had the flowers in my stash from when I cut Hippos from Create a Critter. I try to save remnants like the flowers for when I can ad them on to embellish other cuts like this one.

More Teacher Christmas Gifts

I used the Spring Cottage cartridge to make these strawberry baskets as random crafts of kindness gifts for some more teachers at Meggie's school. I embossed the berries with my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots and Divine Swirls folders.

The big berries are filled with Hershey Kisses while the small ones are just extra decoration. I am still contemplating adding some glitter to the little berries. I am going to ad a tag and ribbon to each basket too.

Teacher Christmas Gift

I found the cute apple basket on clearance at Joanns for $5 and decided to go with the apple theme for Meghan's preschool teacher's Christmas Gift. I love how the finished set turned out. I cut vinyl and put on a black coffee mug from the dollar store...$1. I found a cute flower pen $1. I know she'll love it.

Please Pray

My heart goes out to the familes of all the little angels that lost their lives in CT this morning. I cried to think of what the mothers, fathers, siblings and grandparents of these babies will go through this holiday season. Please join me in praying for their comfort and peace.

Teacher Christmas Gifts

I've been feeling pretty horribly sick. I brought my crafting to bed with me tonight and pieced together a whole bunch of these apple card sets for teacher Christmas gifts at Meggie's preschool. I got 32 cards pieced together while watching "Christmas Vacation" on tv. I did a 12 card set for her main teacher and have four sets with five cards each for teacher assistants. I just love brightening someones day with a hand made gift.

Birthday cards

Needed to start stocking up on some basic birthday cards. I have been falling back on my Simply Charmed cartridge a lot lately. I should really push myself to use some cartridges that I haven't used much of.

Hair bow holder

I used the Love You A Latte cartridge to make this hair bow holder. I cut a shipping box up to use as the base to start.  I made the bows too.

Bottle cap charms

I have a big pack of princess party decorations left over from Meggie's third birthday party. I used my circle punch and punched the little Disney princess faces from the paper bracelets that were included in the party decor. I used glossy accents and Stickles on them. I used my cropadile to punch the holes in the bottle caps. I had the jump rings in my Tim Holtz stash. I put the finished charms on the activity bags that I made for my daughter and nieces.

More Christmas Cards

Finished up 20 Christmas cards that my sis in law ordered and some extras for me to hand out.

Lots of card sets

I am planning on giving away a number of card sets as Christmas gifts. I got a LOT done today. There are quite a lot of duplicates of these...think I got close to 20 cards made today.
