Halloween and Fall cards

I hadn't made a box card in awhile and was inspired to do so by Mary at CardzTV since she just started up their challenges again.

Many of these cuts are from Simply Charmed. Mary had an awesome YouTube tutorial that shows the dimensions for making a box card to fit in an A2 size envelope.

These cuts are from the Trick or Treat cartridge.

Get Well Card

I had to make a quick get well card for my mother in law who just had surgery. The nurse is from Paper Doll Dress Up and the background is from Elegant Edges. The sentiment is from Mary at CardzTV.

Hello Halloween

I found a bunch of Fall Hello Kitty ribbon in the clearance bin at Joann's this week, so I decided to make this Halloween card using the Hello Kitty cartridge.

Those itty bitty pieces on her paws and nose where a major pain to work with. She's cut at 3", so I'd recommend trying a bigger size to make it a little easier when piecing.

Fall Fun

I wanted to make some rustic looking jars for Fall. I mixed some white chalk paint with regular acrylic paint to get the colors on these jars. I cut the stencils using contact paper on my Cricut Explore. I painted over the stencil and the jar. Once the paint was dry I just removed the contact paper to leave the clear opening on the jars.

Glass Cutting Board

I downloaded the new Cricut Design Space ap for my iPhone. I had a lot of fun learning how to "slice" images for the cutting boards I'm making for Christmas gifts.

This one is for me.

Most of the utensil images are on the From My Kitchen cartridge.

This one was a major pain to put together. I found the wine bottle age in the Design Space library when I searched for "wine." I used a BUNCH of different fonts to put the rest together myself. I'm giving this to a friend of mine as a thank you gift.
