Halloween goodie bags
I used the Elegant Edges cartridge to make the tops of these goodie bags for my daughter's class Halloween party this week. I did a print and cut using images from the Trick or Treat cartridge and the font from Happy Hauntings.

Baby Scrapbook
I started working on the scrapbook for our baby on the way. I used the Baby Steps cartridge to do the clothes line. Whenever I get little scraps of white paper I have been using my cloud punches and keeping the clouds in an envelope to use later.

Halloween card and everyday card
This card is for the challenge at CardzTV this week. I used mostly Paper Doll Dress Up for this one. The leaves are from Create a Critter. I had to use the intricate cut setting for most of these since they are so small.

Pumpkin Day Snacks
Tomorrow is pumpkin day at my daughter's school. It happened to fall on her snack day, so I just made pumpkin goodie bags for the snacks she chose.
The background is from Elegant Edges. I attached a score line in the middle of the piece to make folding easier. Then I sliced the same image in half and made it smaller to make the white part as a print and cut.

A spooky project
Miss Meghan, my six year old, didn't have school today. We decided to decorate the mantel for Halloween.
First I cut out 8 pumpkins from Create a Critter after removing the faces using the contour option on Design Space. I drew the faces on 4 of them and Meghan drew the faces on the other 4.
Then I asked Meghan what kind of things were spooky for Halloween. So I cut out a couple ghosts from Simply Charmed and spiders from Mini Monsters. I removed the faces from the leaves on Create a Critter so I could cut them out in one layer. To ad some dimension to the leaves I added some Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink.
I folded the leaves to make the creases like the veins in real leaves.
Most of the cool 3d items are from the Happy Hauntings cartridge. I didn't like the faces on the original pumpkins, so I removed them and added faces from other pumpkins in Design Space. The ghost shown here is from Create a Critter 2.

Frozen Book Box
My daughter needs a book box for Kindergarten, so I've been working on this for her. I used mod podge to glue on the background papers last night so they had time to dry really well. Then today I cut the background image for the lid using Elegant Edges. Next I did a print and cut of Elsa and Anna. I mod podged all of that on. I had a bunch of Frozen stickers that I cut out to decorate the bottom of the box. Then I cut all the lettering out of pink vinyl. As a final touch I went over a bunch of the swirl patterns and over Elsa's dress with some Stickles Glitter glue.
I think we might decorate the inside with items that are not Frozen themed that Meghan really likes.

Recently Used Cartridges
Well as I go through my cartridges I am realizing that some of them I recently used within the past month so I'm not going to try to make projects with them all over again.
I used Christmas Village to do the cane on Yoda. It's a candy cane on that cartridge.

And more cards
Bump In The Night Cartridge and the background is from Christmas Cards.
Journey Through My Cartridges
Last night I layed on the couch and designed all of these creations on my iPhone. Fun times. Then, this morning I cut them out and put them all together.
I'm continuing my journey through all of my cartridges and cutting something out from each for a project. This has been really fun and is forcing me to go outside my comfort zone a bit.

Going through more cartridges
The acorn/leaves are from the B is for Boy cartridge. Another image I wouldn't expect to find on that cartridge.
The background is on Cindy Loo.
Going through the cartridges
I mentioned in an earlier post that I will be going through ALL of my cartridges and including at least one cut from each on my projects.
On this Halloween card I used
Baby Steps- for the background images
Best Images of 2007- pumpkin
This was fun because I really like this background and wouldn't have thought to look at Baby Steps for it.
Christmas S-Fold Card
This card is for a challenge at CardzTV.blogspot.com
Cricut Sympathy Card
Not the best news at the pulmonologist yesterday. They can't do much else for me. Just have to take it easy and keep taking my breathing treatments and pray the asthmatic bronchitis lets up soon.
A friend's husband passed away yesterday, so I had to make a sympathy card. These are the hardest cards for me to make. I think because I never really know what to say. I found the poem online and did a print and cut for the inside.
The top image is from the Cindy Loo cartridge, which I hardly ever use. The card base is from Birthday Bash.
I'm going to be stuck home for awhile, so decided a fun project would be to go through all of my cartridges and try to make at least something from each one. I think I probably have some I have never used. I tend to stick to my favorites and not branch out very much. By doing that I am missing out because there are images out there that I don't even know I have.

Teddy Bear Parade Christmas Cards
The background on these is from Elegant Edges while all of the bears are from Teddy Bear Parade. I haven't used this cartridge in awhile. It was very relaxing piecing all those cute teddy bears together while I sat around and watched a movie.
Create a Critter 2 Christmas Card
I got 10 of these done. The Gingerbread Man is from Create a Critter 2 and the background is from Elegant Edges.
I did two more bags of cards for the troops because my daughter's Kindergarten teacher said the other Kindergarten classes would help out too. There are 28 cards in each bag. So, with what I have done to fill out myself there are over 100 cards that I'll be able to send off to be soldiers for Christmas.

A couple simple Christmas cards
Not feeling much creative "mojo" today. Feeling pretty drained. Got a couple super simple Christmas cards made.

Minion soccer cards
My husband is the coach for our six year old daughter's soccer team. The Fall season is coming to a close and he asked me to make some cards for the kids.
Cards for the troops
I made a couple dozen more cards on the Cricut Explore. You can find this by searching for Christmas Tree Card on Design Space.
Christmas Cards For Our Troops
I'm doing this cards for our Troops project to keep myself busy while I'm sick. I can't really lay down flat since the asthmatic bronchitis gets worse when I do, so I haven't been able to rest much. Not the best when I'm 30 weeks pregnant. Ugh.
So here is the link to the project if you want to participate.
I made a couple dozen cards for my daughter's Kindergarten class to color and do some "kid writing" on the inside. I printed a short message on address labels that I put inside.
The pictures are all images that I drew and can be found on my other blog www.scraphappypapercrafter.blogspot.com
